More tips

What works sometimes to get into concerts for which there seem to be no more tickets (but even if there are no more tickets, there are always seats to be had!) is to get backstage and enter the hall from the stage. To get backstage before a concert, you can:
pretend you are in the orchestra, if there is an orchestra
say you are a close friend of the artist, and if they don't believe you,
say you have the artist's medication (anti-seizure, with a complicated name, or just say Zoloft or something), which the artist left at home / in hotel / in the hospital where he she was staying last night, and without which the artist absolutely will not be able to perform.
depending on the hall - if it is a really busy hall that's not too high
class this works - say you were performing there last night, or last week, and left your make-up bag (or your medication...) in the dressing room and would like to retrieve it. This has worked for me a couple of times! You would have to arrive well before the concert for this to work, though, so they can't accuse you of trying to disturb the artists.
