St. John the Highpoint in MSO Pops Concert

The Montral Symphony's Air Canada series is our city's pops. It was therefore quite fitting to have Tuesday night a real expert in the field [...] That set the stage for the violinistic fireworks of Waxman's Carmen Fantasy, in which St. John was in full command. But she gave more than that: the singing tone of her violin teased the ear with beguiling sensuous beauty, for the evening's highpoint.
