A selection of recent releases by our artists:
Richard Hickox has a new recording in the Percy Grainger series for Chandos, featuring the danish National Radio Symphony and Choir. Gramophone wrote of Hickoxs previous volume in the series brings another triumph for Richard Hickox, who - as in his first disc of orchestral pieces - captures the exuberance of the composers inspiration, his joy in sound, his delight in the taking the listener by surprise.
Just in the shops is Matthias Bamerts tenth issue in his Contemporaries of Mozart series with the London Mozart Players symphonies by Leopold Kozeluch. Pending release are two more in the series of symphonies by Pichl and Jirovec and there are still more to come! Fine composers over-shadowed by Mozarts genius.
