b i o g r a p h y...........back to roster....up December 2011 The various Casals Festival Soloists have been playing together for a period of fifteen years, having met the first time in Prades/France at the famous Casals festival. A variety of programs highlight the exciting repertoire of chamber music for strings and piano and winds. All of the players are soloists and chamber musicians in their own right, performing during the season as soloists with major orchestras all over the world. The summer is reserved for chamber music and new music written for them. They are performing all over the world in major series in Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Shanghai and Helsinki. Current soloists include such famous artists as Olivier Charlier, Peter Frankl, Itamar Golan, Frans Helmerson, Nobuko Imai, Michel Lethiec, Jeremy Menuhin, Paul Neubauer, Arto Noras, Bruno Pasquier, Kyoko Takezawa and others. |
