Colline, Won Cho: one wished the score let him sing his overcoat aria twice

- Colline in La Bohème with Anchorage Opera
Anchorage Daily News, Anchorage, Alaska

“It's rare for basses to steal the show, vocally. But … and Won Cho - as a perfectly venial Don Basilio, Bartolo's cohort – were by far the strongest male members of the cast, their voices dominating the ensembles. Cho has a particularly dark, melodic yet rafter-ringing bass that is worth the price of admission all by itself.”

- Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Anchorage Opera
Anchorage Daily News, Anchorage, Alaska

"Bass Won Cho excelled with his deep resonant mellifluous sound"

"Cho was most effective in the Qui tollis, which he sang with a grave, classic beauty"

- As Bass soloist in Lord Nelson Mass & Bruckner's Te Deum with Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra
Palm Beach Daily News, Palm Beach, FL, April 2010

“Won Cho, as Coppelius, possesses the voice and presence to make himself instantly known on stage”

- Les Contes d”Hoffmann with The University of Memphis Opera
The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee

“In the title role Won Cho was more than capable. His was a lengthy, demanding part. His voice was strong throughout and his diction excellent”

- Elijah with The Metropolitan Chorale
\Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, Waterloo, Iowa
